We didn't celebrate Sammy Sosa getting to 62?
Bud Selig is in CYA mode. He's a fuckin' gump. If he'd had the balls to go toe to toe with the union over the drug policy before two years ago, this debacle might not exist.
But let's be clear, Barry didn't violate the substance abuse policy because there was no prohibition placed on performance enhancing drugs prior to two seasons ago.
Saying he is a cheater is like saying that people who drive lamborghinis on the autobahn are unsafe drivers.
I don't like to see Barry Bonds compared with Babe Ruth. That's like comparing Archie Miller to Steve Wojciechowski.
We did celebrate when Sosa hit #62, but I'm not here to talk about the past.
